Presented here is a short sample video showing how a fun wedding speech looks so much better when recorded with two video cameras. Using two cameras really helps to capture the fun, laughter and spirit of the event in a way that one camera can't. This sample clip was recently recorded at the fantastic Turmeau Hall withi...n Craighouse at Edinburgh Napier University, Craiglockhart. One camera records the top table on a wide angle, with the other recording close-ups of the Father of the Bride and the Wedding Party reactions to what is being said. The recordings are edited together in a documentary style which keeps the edit varied and interesting. This was a fantastic wedding day in a really great and private setting. Enjoy! Father of bride speech for non native English speaker .?

I am expecting my daughter’s wedding within four months . She is going to marry American guy . I’ve realized that there is custom of so called Father of bride wedding speech . I’ve made some compilation from internet sources and my thoughts but I am not sure whether it sounds good for native speaker . Can someone tell me if there are some mistakes or flaws in my text both linguistic or as a content concerns
Thank you all for suggestion

Ladies and Gentlemen,
As father of the bride I have the pleasure of making this speech. I would like to start by on behalf of the brides mother, myself and grooms mother giving a warm welcome to all the relatives and friends who have joined us to celebrate (groom’s name) & (bride’s name) wedding . All (groom’s name) part of family and his friends have to travel across the Atlantic ocean here to our tiny country . Thank you all for coming to help celebrate this very special day . It is very much appreciated.
Suffice it to say that my wife and I are both very proud of how (bride’s name) looks today and how she has grown up and we are both delighted that she has found someone who she obviously loves and cares so much for.
There are among other two things which we as parents tried to give our children, one is roots and the other is wings. (bride’s name) has grown her wings and fled the nest nearly ten years ago though she still have roots within our family. She was very lovely child and today, I look at my daughter and I see an independent, attractive, elegant, stunning ,strong and educated young woman. It was not easy for her to get to this stage . It was bumpy ride of life in foreign county and we as parent were often afraid she doesn’t succeed . Today I must admit that I am the proudest dad in the world to have accompanied (bride’s name) today.
I welcome you (groom’s name) to our family . We do not know you long time . But when we first met you with my wife nine month ago , we instantly knew you are a good men .
Anyway new weds in front of us do not need any advice on marriage . I would just mention that thirty four year ago there was similar couple of two young people ,my wife and me, who said their vow just for one and the only reason , for love, as you have done today . I do appreciate it lot . If you though think you want some advice ask the real professional in this matter , my parents who are together for sixty two years now .
As young boy I liked duo Simon and Gurfankel . They sang a song “Bridge over the troubled waters” . One verse of the song reads “Like a bridge over troubled waters I will lay me down” . I wish you were still on your spouse side when times get rough and provide imaginary bridge to each other over sometimes troubled waters of real life .
Please join me in raising your glasses in a toast to the happy couple – (groom’s name) & (bride’s name).

Where Have I heard this Father of bride speech before?

Part of it is "when she was little I could hold her hand and pull her int he right direction; when she grew older I could point to the right direction and tell her to go there; as she is now a young woman I can only trust her to make the right decisions for herself" somthing along those lines? I know I heard this in a movie or something and it is driving me crazy trying to figure it out.
